Need for skilled workforce
Converse County and Wyoming face a growing housing crisis driven in large part by a shortage of skilled construction labor. Major projects and higher-paid temporary workers are straining limited housing, making it increasingly difficult to recruit and retain essential professionals such as teachers, nurses, and law enforcement.
Eastern Wyoming College is building the solution by creating a local pipeline of skilled tradespeople who can expand housing capacity and strengthen our workforce.
Be a game-changer in Converse County
Your contribution to this initiative will directly impact Converse County's workforce, economy and quality of life. Please join us in making this vision a reality.
Our progress is fueled by $375,000 in state matching funds for pledges received by March 31, 2026. Your pledge or gift today is effectively doubled. Please help us secure the remaining state matching funds.
