Annual Golf Tournament

The Foundation hosted its annual golf tournament on August 24th to support the general activities of the Foundation. The event was a four-person scramble and included a team mulligan, a steak dinner and Calcutta held on the eve of the tournament.

This event raises an average of $9,000/year for Foundation programs. Thank you to all of our sponsors and players who made the tournament another great success!!

Eastern Wyoming College Foundation
FY2024 Annual Meeting

On behalf of the Eastern Wyoming College Foundation, we are delighted to present our Annual Report for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. This has been a remarkable year of growth, success, and community impact, and we are honored to share our progress with you.

One of the most exciting milestones from this past year is the growth of our investment portfolio, which has now exceeded $20 million. This tremendous achievement is a testament to the unwavering support of our donors, partners, faculty, staff, and the broader community. The Foundation Board takes very seriously our duty to steward the gifts received by the Foundation, by making sound investments and fulfilling the desires of our donors to benefit students. Together, you have helped us strengthen our foundation to ensure we can continue to serve the educational needs of future generations.

Through your generosity, we have been able to provide essential resources to our students, faculty, and programs.  In the past year, we awarded scholarships to 231 students, totaling more than $540,000. Additionally, we contributed nearly $140,000 to support vital college programs and initiatives, ensuring Eastern Wyoming College continues to be a beacon of excellence and opportunity for our region.

As we look ahead, the Foundation has a tremendous opportunity to help the College obtain $1 million in matching funds from the State of Wyoming. Plans are underway to raise money for rodeo and livestock facilities in Torrington and expand the Douglas campus with a construction trades program, among other needs identified by the College.
